OUR HISTORY
The Miss Toronto Tourism Charities started in the year 1999 by its founder Susan Reid. In the year 2002, the organization is newly managed by its Board Of Directors. The main purpose of our organization is to promote Tourism, Charities, and Events in the City of Toronto. Congratulations, Miss Toronto Tourism 2008 who is represented by our present title holder, Jodine Mitchell who helps promote different Events and Charities in the City of Toronto. Miss Multicultural promotes Multiculturalism, as Toronto is the City of all cultures. The lovely Miss Toronto Tourism 2008 promotes and brings public awareness to Events and Charities in the City of Toronto.

Toronto which means Meeting Place was named by the Natives who first landed on the shores of Lake Ontario many years ago. Toronto has become the meeting place for many cultures and nationalities from around the world. Toronto is the City of many nations and has a rich history and many cultures and roots here.
Toronto is an epicurean's delight with restaurants and kitchens around the globe sharing their different cuisines. You don't have to travel to go to Greece, China, Italy, India or Poland. Just go to each ethnic district in Toronto and you will feel as though you are there.
Toronto is the Fashion Capital of Canada with an anything goes attitude with fashion. Hip, funk, casual, sexy, 60's, business or a classy looks fit into the streets of Toronto. Take a walk down Queen St. or Bloor St. and you will see Torontonians fashion sense. We even have our own Fashion designers: Andrew Majtenyi, Margarita Valou and Pat McDonough to name a few.
Toronto is the business capital of Canada with business people from across the continent doing business here. King St, Front St, Bay St and The Toronto Stock Exchange are major attractions for business professionals from around the globe.
City Hall, CN Tower, Ontario Place, CNE, Toronto Zoo, Science Centre, Art Gallery, Royal Museum, many Theatres and Restaurants attract Tourists to the City Of Toronto. Toronto is a great City and one that is well known for its hospitality around the world.
